A Nationwide Tribute to America's 250th Anniversary

AmericanStars250 is an independent commemorative project created in recognition of the 250th anniversary of the United States.

Participants from all 50 states have the opportunity to reserve a commemorative place on the map, create a personal profile, and share their story as part of a nationwide collection celebrating the people behind the nation's history.

Each state is represented by 250 commemorative placements, creating a nationwide collection of 12,500 stories that honor the people who help shape America.

More than a celebration of a historic anniversary, AmericanStars250 seeks to recognize the individuals, families, and organizations whose lives, service, achievements, and aspirations contribute to the ongoing story of the nation.
