AmericanStars250 offers two ways to participate, each providing a meaningful opportunity to become part of a commemorative initiative honoring the 250th anniversary of the United States.
You may choose a State Reservation, which provides a permanent place within your selected state, or a Flag Star Reservation, a unique participation option that includes symbolic placement within the project's national flag display.
Both options include permanent participation in the project and a public participant profile. Choose the option that best reflects how you would like to be part of the AmericanStars250 story.

The State Reservation is the foundation of the AmericanStars250 project. It gives individuals and families the opportunity to reserve a permanent place within the state of their choice and become part of a nationwide commemorative initiative honoring the 250th anniversary of the United States.
Each reservation includes a public participant profile displayed on the page of the selected state. Participants may share their name, photograph, biography, family story, and a personal message, creating a lasting record of their participation in the project.
Each state is limited to 250 State Reservations, reflecting America's 250th anniversary and helping preserve the commemorative purpose of the project.
The State Reservation is offered at $49.99 in honor of America's 250th anniversary.

A unique way to participate in a national tribute that brings together representatives from all 50 states.
The Flag Star Reservation is a special participation option within AmericanStars250, created for individuals and families who wish to become part of not only their state's story, but also the project's national presentation.
Unlike a Standard State Reservation, a Flag Star is incorporated into the project's symbolic American flag display. Flag Star participant profiles appear not only on their selected state's page, but also within this national display throughout the website, including across the pages of all 50 states. As visitors explore different states and discover AmericanStars250, Flag Star profiles receive broader visibility across the project.
The Flag Star is a symbolic design element created exclusively for AmericanStars250. It is not an official U.S. government symbol, does not represent any form of government recognition, status, or special rights, and is not endorsed by or affiliated with any government agency. Its purpose is to bring together participants from all 50 states within a single national symbol that reflects the spirit of the project.
